1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They let a site remember things between pages and visits. Similar technologies, including local storage and tracking pixels, do much the same thing, and this policy covers those too.

2. What we use them for

We use cookies to keep the site working and to understand how people use it. We do not use cookies for advertising, and we do not allow advertising networks to place cookies on this site.

3. Categories of cookies we use

Strictly necessary cookies keep the site working — for example, remembering your cookie choice and your language preference (English or Nepali), and protecting our forms against spam. These cannot be switched off.

Analytics cookies help us see which pages people visit and where they arrive from, so we can improve the site. If we use Google Analytics, it sets cookies named _ga and _ga_<ID>, which last up to two years. We configure Google Analytics to anonymize IP addresses and we turn off advertising features and data sharing. These cookies are optional, and the site works fully without them.

Advertising cookies. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. No advertising network operates on this site, and we do not use tracking pixels from social media platforms.

Embedded content. Some pages may include content from other services, such as an embedded video or map. Those providers may set their own cookies when their content loads.

4. Your consent

When you first visit, a consent banner appears. No non-essential cookie is set until you actively accept. Rejecting is as easy as accepting: the banner offers "Accept all" and "Reject all" as equally prominent choices. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

5. Controlling cookies yourself

Every major browser — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge — lets you block or delete cookies through its settings. Blocking all cookies may stop parts of this or other sites from working.

6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We honor Global Privacy Control signals sent by your browser. Because there is no common standard for Do Not Track, we do not respond to those signals separately — but since we do not track visitors for advertising, there is nothing to opt out of.

7. Children

We do not use cookies to build profiles of children or to advertise to them. Analytics on this site measure page visits, not individuals.

8. Changes

We will update this policy if our use of cookies changes, and we will change the date at the top.
