Common Questions

Does my child need to know Nepali already?+

No. Most beginners start with a handful of words they've picked up at home. Our beginner level starts with the Nepali alphabet (Ka–Kha).

Is there a cost?+

GEP offers both free and paid programs. Whether or not you donate has no effect on your child's place in class. (Specifics: NEEDS — which classes are free and which carry a fee.)

What if we miss a class?+

Classes are not recorded, so please join live whenever you can. (Make-up policy: NEEDS.)

We live somewhere with no Nepali community. Can we still join?+

Yes. Classes are online and open to families anywhere in the world, so you can join no matter where you live.
